An evening with Paresh Mokashi

Yesterday, 20th February 2010, MIMER MEDICAL COLLEGE, Talegaon celebrated their Annual Day as a part of PLEXUS 10. Mr. PARESH MOKASHI, Director of the famous Marathi Film HARISHCHANDRACHI FACTORY was the chief guest.

He emphasised the following points:

-Don't use pirated CDs to see Films. Go to Cinema theatres and see the movies as part of it will reach the Producer and Director. The amount you pay to purchase the pirated CD goes to those people who are interested in bomb-blasts and other terrorist activities. You will repent afterwords if you come to know that indirectly you are helping the enemies of India.
-Marathi films like VIHIR, GABRICHA PAUS, GANDHA, JOGAVA are some of the best Marathi films of today.
-Every Indian should get inspired by knowing the efforts of SHRI DADASAHEB PHALKE during the making of his first film in INDIA.
-Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan like stars we see today are because of the efforts taken by SHRI DADASAHEB PHALKE hundred years back in developing a film industry in INDIA

He appeared to be very simple in his behavior, in his thoughts, in his dress and in his presentation. He was born and brought up in LONAVALA of MAWAL Taluka, so all of us are proud of him.

Dr. Shubhada Javadekar.
